Designed for Tongle Jiajia Playground in Chongqing, this outdoor rope-net adventure playground transforms colorful rope structures into a series of immersive “wormhole” spaces. The concept uses the idea of traveling through space to turn the play structures into interactive installations that children can enter, climb through, and explore.
High-strength, environmentally friendly rope netting is combined with lightweight steel framing to create a durable and dynamic structure. The open rope-net design provides varied climbing and movement experiences while maintaining clear sightlines across the play area.
Bright colors and flowing lines give the playground a strong visual identity, turning the rope structures into a distinctive focal point within the outdoor environment. More than a collection of play elements, the project combines imaginative play with sculptural design to create a memorable destination for children and families.
