Multi‑Level Net Play System: Bespoke Indoor Adventure Space for Preschool

This project is a three‑level indoor rope‑net play space specially designed for early childhood education environments. It was delivered through a complete process from initial 3D planning to final on‑site installation. The design focuses on soft, child‑friendly colours, transparent safety netting, and age‑appropriate climbing challenges, creating an immersive space for physical exploration and sensory play. The facility includes an orange climbing tunnel, rope‑net obstacle corridor, hanging balls, tyre seats, honeycomb net platforms, and a vertical rope‑net access path connecting all levels, integrating play, movement, social interaction and imaginative learning into one safe indoor environment.

The play area is organised into three vertical levels, creating a clear yet adventurous play flow. The lowest level features a striking orange climbing tunnel as an entry‑level exploration zone for crawling and basic physical training. The second level is designed as a rope‑net obstacle corridor with colourful hanging balls and tyre seats, adding elements of balance, suspension, avoidance and restful interaction. The top level centres on a honeycomb net structure, providing a soft, safe and memorable elevated play platform. A vertical rope‑net access path runs along the side of the structure, connecting all levels naturally and forming a continuous circulation route. The design maintains high visibility for teacher supervision, while pastel colours and woven net textures create a warm, playful and naturally themed atmosphere suitable for kindergartens.

All rope‑net components are made of high‑strength, wear‑resistant and soft safety rope material. Net surfaces, passages, hanging points, guardrails and connection areas are reinforced and padded for child safety. Mesh opening size, passage width, load‑bearing performance and fall‑protection structure are specifically designed for indoor early‑years play scenarios to reduce risks of collision, entrapment and falling. On‑site installation follows the original 3D model closely, with fine‑tuning of net tension, module positioning, passage height and connector stability. The final installation closely matches the design vision, balancing kindergarten safety requirements, long‑term durability and easy maintenance.

This three‑level rope‑net play space provides kindergartens with a highly engaging indoor facility that supports children’s climbing, balance, coordination, social interaction and imaginative development. Unlike traditional single‑function play equipment, it creates longer engagement time and repeated play value through multi‑level exploration paths. For kindergarten operators, the project not only improves the functionality of indoor space but also enhances the visual identity of the facility and parental trust.
